Most repairs in I.T. have to do with software and can be solved with only a keyboard, but there are some other tools that can help you with hardware issues.

1. Smartphone (used for research and reading manuals)
   

2. A number 2 Phillips Screwdriver (most componets use that type of screws)

• Nut driver and a bit set
  

• Hemostats (helpful to extract screws)

• Spudgers (helpful to pry stuff open)
  

• Pry bars (these are made of plastic)
